# Bridge

## What is a Bridge?

A bridge is a smart contract that connects two independent blockchain networks, allowing digital assets to move securely between them.

It acts as a gateway, enabling you to transfer a token from one chain to another one.

For example, a bridge lets you move assets like $USDC from a network like Polygon to Chiliz Chain so you can use them within the Kayen Finance ecosystem.

## How to Bridge Assets to Chiliz Chain

Open the Bridge page on Kayen Finance:

From there, you can simply follow the instructions on-screen.
