# Unstake

You have two methods to unstake your assets on Kayen Finance: 

* Instant: \
  Allows for an instant swap (roughly 3 seconds) based on the market price of stCHZ to CHZ. It's direct but pricier.
* Queue: \
  Provides an exact exchange rate between CHZ and stCHZ tokens, but requires a waiting period (up to 2 days) on Chiliz Mainnet before you can withdraw your CHZ tokens. It's cheaper, but takes more time.

## Instant unstake

### Open the Unstake interface

Open the "Stake" menu and select the "Unstake" option.

### Enter an amount of stCHZ to unstake

Enter a number in the "You unstake" field, and KayenFi will indicate how much CHZ you will receive in return.

### Validate the unstaking

Click "Unstake via DEX" to trigger the unstaking.

KayenFi will display a summary. Confirm the unstaking.

### Confirm in your wallet

Your Web3 wallet (MetaMask or any other) will open a window asking you to confirm the transaction. Validate it in order to complete your unstaking.

## Queued unstake

### Open the Unstake interface

Open the "Stake" menu and select the "Unstake" option.

### Select the "Queue" option

Click on "Queue" to change the interface slightly.

KayenFi indicates the "cooldown" period, after which you will be able to claim your tokens.

### Validate the unstaking

Click "Request withdrawal" to trigger the unstaking. KayenFi will display a summary.&#x20;

Confirm the request. Your Web3 wallet will open a window to confirm the transaction.

### Wait for the cooldown period

KayenFi then redirects you to the ["Withdrawals" interface](/docs/kayen-finance-user-guide/lst/withdrawals.md), where you can see how long you have left before you can claim your unstaked tokens.
